One of my favorite things is to turn a photograph into Art. It puts a new perspective on the image, and adds more texture to the scene or person. I have provided a few samples below. When I had a few of my landscape images turned into Art for my walls, the photo lab person asked me 3 times if I was the owner of these images. I kept telling her yes, that I had a program that would turn regular images into art, and that was what I had developed. Hummm, great indorsement of the process.

Offcial Photography Business Start-Up Today
Wanted to announce that my official start up is today, May 20, 2013. I have set up a small website for now. http://www.creeksidephotographyus.com Since it is small, there are no images, but you can always check back here or e-mail a request for a sample of my work. We have an option that many studios do not offer by electing to have one or more of your images turned into art. Here are a few samples. These look great printed on a canvas.

Mist in the hills of Canyon Lake
In the winter, we have hot and cold days here in the Texas Hill Country. Sometimes with the air is colder than the waters in our Canyon Lake, a mist forms in the lake and snakes with the Guadalupe River that feeds the lake and also continues to flow to the Texas coast. The other day was just such a morning. I was able to get this shot before I headed over to our bed and breakfast to start guest breakfast prep. I tell our guests to pretend they are in the Highlands of Scotland and experience our "mist in the moors".
Backdrops
Backdrops whether natural or sets can help your image tell a story and capture the viewer's imagination. I have a program called Smart Photo Editor (since I can't figure out how to use Photo Shop) that helps make even the worst backdrop look good.

Well, December is here and we are well into the holiday season. I owned my own photography studio in the late 70's and early 80's, and now own Biscuit Hill Bed & Breakfast in the Texas Hill Country. Photography has been a passion since childhood, and with all the digital equipment available now, it makes photography even more fun. In this blog visitors will see images I have taken of people and landscapes, because travel is also a passion of mine. Anyone in the New Braunfels, Bourne, Bulverde, Spring Branch, or San Antonio area may contact me for in home photo sessions. I specialize in baby photography and outdoor photography of kids and families. The images I have added here are of a photo shoot I did in Schertz just last Thursday.
Appointments may be made by calling 830-743-4141. I will answer with my bed and breakfast greeting so don't think you have reached the wrong number. This blog will be my online link for now.
There is a location fee of $50, and depending on the package you choose that price will be added to the location fee. I usually take between 30 & 50 photos, which are yours to keep on a CD for $25.
